Recomended Use

HILEC 920 is recommended for use over wires, tubing, cables, wire bundles, wire harnesses, and pneumatic hoses to provide tough, durable protectio and convenient, low profile bundling of bulky, multiple elements. Its non-burning characteristics render HILEC 920 particularly suitable for military, automotive, and aerospace applications where flammability is a critical issue.

Features

• Hilec 920 is rated for continuous service from –70 °C through 125 °C. and will tolerate short-term exposure up to 230 °C.

• Hilec 920 stretches and contracts to accommodate irregular shapes and sizes. A single sleeve size can stretch to encase bundles with diameters up to three times its own I.D.

• Hilec 920 contracts to a snug fit producing a compact bundle with a smooth resilient cover, which prevents snagging during installation in cabinets and equipment.

• Hilec 920 can be flexed repeatedly without losing its physical properties. Its open braid construction affords ventilation, preventing trapping of heat or moisture.

• Hilec 920 is naturally slick allowing it to slide easily and quickly over end fittings and connectors, reducing labor cost. Bundled elements move freely within the sleeve reducing strain

• Hilec 920 resists chafing, abrasion, cut-through, flexure-fatigue, and heat degradation

• Hilec 920 adds minimal weight, bulk and cost to wire harnesses.

HILEC 920 is available in black or white with a contrasting color tracer. A range of other colors is available subject to minimum order quantities.
