Description

540R Series is comprised of a two-component liquid silicone rubber continuously applied to premium electrical grade braided fiberglass sleeving. 540R Series offers superior coating adhesion to the fiberglass than extruded type products while retaining excellent flexibility and expandability over a wide range of temperatures (-55°C to +200°C).

Recomended Use

540 Series is used where high temperature requirements are coupled with flexibility, abrasion resistance, moisture resistance, cut-through resistance, expandability and chemical resistance. Typical applications for 540R Series include DC motor lead protection, high current dry transformers and automotive under-the-hood wire protection.
